The next iteration in the NFS franchise, Need For Speed Unbound, was finally officially announced on October 6, 2022, following its leak, first spotted on the Japanese retailer website, Neowing. With the announcement, we got the official release date and platforms on which NFS Unbound is set to release. However, PS4 and Xbox One platforms were nowhere to be seen, raising the question: is NFS Unbound on PS4 and Xbox One? After merging Criterion Games and Codemaster’s Cheshire studios in 2020, EA had them working on a next-gen Need For Speed game, and it seems NFS Unbound is that game.
