A true gamer that has been crazy about games and gaming for over 10 years. My main interests are PS5, VR and AR Games as well as general gaming.

There are many things I don’t particularly like about Overwatch 2. In my last beta preview of the game, I got some hands-on time with Junker Queen and noted that she felt a lot more like an offensive DPS-style character rather than a tank, and it seemed that Overwatch, as a whole, was moving more towards being a competitive FPS game rather than a hero shooter. Those feelings still hold true even as I’ve sunk a considerable amount of time with the final build of Overwatch 2 over the past two weeks, but somehow I just can’t seem to stay…

As if there wasn’t enough controversy swirling around Overwatch 2 and its questionable Battle Pass already, a new update from Blizzard regarding the First Time User Experience (FTUE) has sparked quite a bit of debate among the player base and members of the press alike. Here’s the short version: new Overwatch 2 accounts will not have access to the full roster of heroes when they first get started. Instead, all game modes and characters will gradually unlock as they play, and they should get access to everything in around 100 games or so. Read More Here

Riot Games is in the midst of trialing a bunch of interesting changes to Valorant over on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) server this week. For starters, as we’ve highlighted in another recent article, Fracture is getting a major overhaul that looks very promising. But the more impactful changes pertain to the reworking of several Agents’ flashes, which, if locked in after this week’s trial run, seems destined to shift Valorant’s meta in a big way — though, as is sometimes the case, shifting it differently for ranked and pro play. The PS5 Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is down to an all-time low price in Amazon’s PS5 deals today. The official headset is $75.58 (was $99) (opens in new tab), so you save 23% off the usual price. You’ll need to wait a little while for it to arrive as it’s coming via Amazon UK so delivery is slightly longer than average, but it’s a considerable saving for an appealing headset and there’s no delivery charge to pay. The Pulse 3D Headset only usually enjoys modest discounts bringing it down to $88 or so, meaning there’s a lot to save here…

When I randomly got back behind the wheel in Forza Horizon 4, I certainly didn’t expect to do it in the smallest car in the world. After finishing up the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels expansion, I decided it was high time I revisit the previous racing adventure in the series to get to some unfinished business at long last. Little did I know that an as yet discovered Summer barn find awaited me that would derail any progress I was hoping to make on some yet to be completed Horizon stories. Sometimes the biggest surprises come in the smallest…

The Seagate 1TB Storage Expansion Card is down to an all-time low in Amazon’s Xbox deals right now. Available for $209.99 (was $219.99) (opens in new tab), it’s a very modest discount of $10 but this is a vital accessory for many Xbox gamers that simply almost never drops in price. The 1TB card usually stoically sticks to its typical price of $219.99 instead. A $10 saving might not make this an impulse buy but if you’ve been keeping an eye on the expansion card for a while, this is a good time to hit the button and snap one…

With the full release of the light subclass reworks, players have been diving deep into the new ways they can build into the classic three elements: solar, void, and arc. This has left the one Darkness based subclass we have available, Stasis, to become somewhat of an overshadowed option. That is not to say that it isn’t viable, as it remains and incredibly strong option for crowd control in PvE activities and a great counter for close range combatants in PvP. Among the myriad of incredible weapons released with Season of the Haunted was the Lunulata-4b, a Lightweight Stasis bow…

I’ve jokingly told some colleagues that the old Neat Bumblebee looks like the microphone of a sci-fi intercom system (opens in new tab). It was an out-there design I respected.  And if you know me, I do love some goofy-looking tech (opens in new tab). For the Bumblebee II microphone, Neat decided on a more modest design for its budget microphone, pitting against a competitive group of worthy noise recorders. Considering the charmingly bizarre design of the original Bumblebee (opens in new tab)and King Bee (opens in new tab)microphones, it’s strange to see Neat go for such a modest design.…
